About Me

Well, the decision to revamp Vintage Glam's website and launch a blog came as a "welcomed" surprise to me.  I do not handle change well (I have since learned through sharing that I am not the only one).  At the writing of this posting, we are 6-months into COVID-19, I have closed Vintage Glam's boutique and ceased hosting on-site parties - three big changes.  What is a girl supposed to do?  Ugh!  

But, I recall a really good friend once asked me "Why do you look at change as a bad thing?" ( thank you Roseann.  Miss you!)  That question kept coming back to me over the past couple of months.  I truly wanted to come out of the pandemic with some sense of accomplishment.  So, I put down that pint of ice cream and bag of chips and turned off the television and began to focus on the things I could do.  Doing this gave me a sense of power and accomplishment.  

It was time to revamp the website (old one was 6-years old and needed updating).  I always wanted to start a blog to share stories of parties, crafting, collecting and experiences.   The blog will also give me an opportunity to stay in touch with my customers (many who are now friends) - and, to hear about your personal journey - what have you been up to?  Please do not hesitate to share. 

Hosting Virtual Events - not a new thing for Vintage Glam! 

Vintage Glam is currently coordinating wonderful virtual events for our clients.  Hosting virtual events is not new to us.  We successfully engaged out of town/country guests and guests unable to attend in-person via videoconferencing platforms.  Our virtual party plans include all the "bells and whistles" of in-person events (shower games, party favors, etc.).
